Suryoday Yojana Free Electricity
In the budget, Smt. Nirmala Sitharaman made an exciting announcement for the Suryoday Yojana beneficiaries. In her statement, she said that every person who installs Solar Rooftop under the scheme, gets 300 Free electricity units.
You can also be part of the scheme and take advantage of Zero Electricity bill under the Suryoday scheme.
The Important thing to understand here is that 300 units are free which are usually more than enough. However, if your usage is more than 300 units and your Solar Rooftop plant is not generating that much electricity, you will have to pay the additional amount.

For every excess electricity generated by your Solar Rooftop you can earn additional money by selling it to power corporation.
