Suryoday Yojana Expectations from Budget 2024
On January 22nd, Prime Minister Narendra Modi released the teaser for Solar rooftop scheme, the final picture will be released shortly, during the Budget 2024 announcement day.
UPDATE : Finally the Budget has been announced. Finance Minister told that every beneficiary of Suryoday yojana will get free electricity upto 300 units.
Here are the expectations :
- As per a report by Moneycontrol, the Finance Minister is likely to allocate atleast 20,000 Crore for Suryoday Yojana
- Clear Instructions regarding the implementation of the scheme could be explained.
- It is also expected that enhanced subsidies could be unveiled as part of scheme
So far we know that REC Limited has been appointed as Nodal agency for Suryoday Yojana. The company is going to lend 1.2 Lakhs Crores for this scheme.
